The Ktunaxa Nation Council Business Development Grants are intended to provide financial support for entrepreneurial and economic activities being pursued by Ktunaxa entrepreneurs, artisans and smaller businesses in order to support and complement the Ktunaxa First Nation’s grants.

These grants are provided to Ktunaxa entrepreneurs in need of financial support to start or expand their business activities through the purchase of tangible items and/or marketing products.

Eligibility

The Business Development Grant is only available to Ktunaxa citizens or businesses owned and operated at least at 51% by Ktunaxa.

Preference is given to applicants who have not been funded through Ktunaxa Nation Council before, and who meet the criteria detailed in the application package regarding the category they fall under: Start-up or existing business.

Each applicant will work directly with our Business Development Officers during the application process.

Financials

The annual financial budget for this project is $60,000.

This will be divided between the four Ktunaxa First Nation Communities, supporting as many applications as possible with the $15,000 funds with a maximum of up to $5,000 per grant.
